It’s been awhile…
Okay, that’s a massive understatement.
I haven’t written anything in… a long time. You could say that my blog flat-lined (that’s what – understandably – my site stats look like, at least).
But if you’ve seen the move “Flatliners”, you know to expect the unexpected (it’s kind of like the Spanish Inquisition in that way).
So, completely out of the blue, I’ve signed up for NaNoBloMo. Oh wait, NaBloPoMo. Something like that. It’s not quite as catchy as NaNoWriMo, for some reason. Which, anecdotally, I thought was some kind of new wireless technology when I first heard about it. No kidding.
So anyway, I figure since I’m hopeless at churning out new posts at any kind of frequency, I might as well sign up to write one daily. Does that make sense ?
I’ll tell you something : I’ll be the most surprised person out there if I somehow manage to keep it up.
Only the future will tell however, so until then, here is one small post for NaNoBloMo (rats, wrong again), one great post for – wait, no, it’s definitely not so great… One average post for – no, really, I haven’t even really said anything worthwhile… One insignificant post for – no, that’s condescending…
Oh, whatever.

Hey, it’s a step in the right direction. Way to go! Blog writing does have its ups and downs, doesn’t it? Have fun with this and we’ll be excited to see your posts!

I think in fact your stepping away from the online world has strangely coincided with not only my lack of writing (admittedly not the most earth-shattering moment of all), but also the major drop in Facebook’s share price, Google’s lower-than-expected earnings, and all those firings at the head of Apple. Just saying…
Not that I’m putting any pressure on you, but, you know… I hear there once was a renowned Mayan named “The Hipstaca” who suddenly stopped doing sun salutations or whatever her thing was. And the rest, of course, is history.
